What is an epoxy walkway floor?
A seamless coating over a prepared concrete walkway. We grind the concrete, broadcast flake into a 100% solids epoxy base across the whole floor, then seal it with polyaspartic.
Flake gives the path its color and grip underfoot. The clear top coat locks it in place so it does not scuff off where people walk every day.

Top coat

Walkway epoxy questions answered
Can you coat an outdoor concrete walkway?
Yes. We install epoxy flake walkway floors with a polyaspartic top coat built for Texas heat and rain, over ground and repaired concrete.
Will it survive a Texas summer and a Gulf storm?
Yes. The polyaspartic layer is UV-stable and waterproof, so sun and downpours are what it was made for.
Is it slippery when wet?
Flake leaves a textured surface that grips better than smooth concrete. For extra traction we can mix in aggregate when you ask, at no added cost.
Why not just paint the walkway?
Ordinary paint is not built for direct sun, so it fades, chalks and lifts. Polyaspartic is made for that exposure and keeps its color.
Does moisture in the concrete matter?
We test the concrete for moisture before we coat and tell you the result. You do not have to do anything. If moisture is an issue, we walk you through your options.
Do you repair cracks first?
Yes. Small cracks and chips are filled before coating at no charge. Foundation cracks are not part of that.
How much does a walkway floor cost?
Flake floors start at $5 per square foot with a $1,250 minimum, and a short path often falls under that minimum. You get the exact figure in writing before we begin.
What warranty comes with it, and do you work in my area?
