EPOXY FLAKE GARAGE FLOORS

What does an epoxy flake garage floor include?

Four layers working together: ground concrete, an epoxy base coat, decorative flake broadcast into the base, and a clear top coat that seals it. The flake hides dirt and small marks, and the clear coat makes the floor easy to sweep and wipe.

We install them in Conroe and across the greater Houston area. We diamond grind the slab, repair minor to moderate cracks, apply 100% solids epoxy with full broadcast flake and finish with a polyaspartic top coat.

OUR PROCESS

How do we install a garage floor?

Six steps, start to finish. Most 2 car garages take about 2 days. Scroll to watch one go down.

STEP 1 OF 6 · ESTIMATEMeasuring the slab and testing moisture
5-year workmanship warranty
01

Estimate

We look at the floor, measure it, test for moisture, and talk through colors and what you want to use the garage for.

  • Free, with the price in writing
02

Diamond grinding

We grind the whole slab so the coating bonds to the concrete itself. Our grinders connect to industrial-grade vacuums to minimize dust.

  • Moisture test again after the grind
03

Crack and edge repair

We fill minor to moderate cracks and patch chips before any coating goes down. Then we vacuum the dust out of the pores so the epoxy bonds.

  • We do not repair foundation cracks
04

Base coat and flake

100% solids epoxy with full broadcast flake, wall to wall. Stem walls included.

05

Clear top coat

A polyaspartic top coat seals the flake, resists UV and gives the floor its shine.

06

Walk-through

We go over care and when you can park on it, and make sure you are 100 percent satisfied.

SURFACE PREP

Why does diamond grinding matter?

Grinding opens the concrete and removes the top layer, opening the pores, so the epoxy has something to bond to. Poor prep is what makes a garage floor coating peel, so we never skip it.

  • Moisture tested before and after the grind
  • Industrial-grade vacuums clear the dust from the pores
  • Minor to moderate cracks repaired at no charge

FAQ

Epoxy garage floor questions, answered

Straight answers on price, timing and prep, so you know what to expect before you call.

How much does an epoxy garage floor cost in Conroe?

Pricing starts at $5 per square foot, and every job has a $1,250 minimum. A one-car garage starts at $1,250. Most 2-car garages run 350 to 420 square feet, which is about $1,750 to $2,100. These are estimates. We measure your floor and check its condition first, then confirm the final price in writing before we start.

How long does a garage floor take?

One and two car garages take about two days. We confirm the timeline for larger garages at your estimate, and we tell you exactly when you can walk and park on the floor at the final walkthrough.

Can you fix cracks in my garage floor?

Yes. Repair of minor to moderate cracks is included when you book. We fill the cracks and patch chips before coating. We do not repair foundation cracks.

What if my concrete has a moisture problem?

We test the slab for moisture at your estimate and again after the grind. If it needs moisture protection, we tell you before any work begins, so there are no surprises.

Why do you diamond grind before coating?

Grinding opens the pores of the concrete, and an industrial-grade vacuum clears the dust out of them, so the epoxy can bond. Poor prep is what makes a coating peel, so we never skip it.

Do I need to empty my garage?

Yes. The floor needs to be clear so we can grind, repair and coat it edge to edge. We go over what to move when we meet at the estimate.

Is an epoxy flake floor slippery?

The flake texture gives the floor traction, and we can add aggregate for extra grip on request at no additional charge. Ask us at your estimate.

Will hot tires hurt the floor?

Our polyaspartic top coat is built to resist hot-tire pickup and UV, so it suits Texas garages.

What is the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?

Epoxy is the base that bonds to your concrete. Polyaspartic is the clear top coat over the flake that protects it from sun, heat and wear. Your garage floor gets both.

Do you serve areas outside Conroe?

Yes. We serve Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, Houston, Humble, Willis, Splendora, Porter, New Waverly and Montgomery. If you are not sure we reach you, call and ask.

What does your warranty cover?
